Just a quick post. The SAA conference in New Orleans was great. William Maher chaired our panel, and Howard Besser and I presented on "The Archivist, Copryight and Digitization," (or something to that effect). I presented more work on the new unpublished public domain, and Howard presented on the Information Commons. It was great fun.
I promised that I would post some suggestions on ways libaries could include copyright info with their finding aids. I will do that soon. Tonight, just wanted to write how great it was to present the unpublished public domain material there. It was a great couple of days. The paper should be done soon, for those interested. Please email me for a copy.
